I am Che, I have been living in Nicaragua for a little more than a decade, Ometepe Island caught me for the first time, its beauty, nature, vibrant colors, the majesty of its volcanoes, and the freshness of the lake, are the perfect combination. One of my passions has always been photography and this is an exceptional place to do it. I love to enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer from the dock on the beach overlooking the Concepción Volcano. I also enjoy walks with my two great companions, my dogs Joyce and Perro.

Why stay at El Bamboo Cabins? Because it is one of the few places to stay in front of the beach. The constructions not only use some recycled materials, but we mix harmoniously materials from the island in combination with other modern ones, which give it a traditional esthetic with a good level of comfort. Because the cabins are made by ourselves. Because we do it with love for what we do and with love for nature. Because we are proud of the little paradise we are building for you and for us.
