Looking for jungle vibes and a lot of nature off the beaten track? Then you are more than welcome at our organic coffee finca in Muy Muy, Nicaragua. Here we have 3 spacious jungle cabins and a real tree house (available from the end of 2022) for you to stay in. Finca El Escondido is the place to be to relax peacefully. Watch monkeys swing by. Enjoy the more than 60 species of birds. Want to be active? Then hike one of the many hiking trails (for every level) around the finca. Wildlife and a lots of nature is waiting for you to be explored. Besides the jungle cabins we offer you a complete shared kitchen with all the equipment you need. Next to the kitchen is the dining area/terrace with a beautiful view at the lagoon and jungle. Up for something special? Try the wood fired (pizza) oven or the barbecue. Don’t forget to take an outside shower at the ‘ducha del bosque’. At the reception/lounge area you can chill with other guests and here you find the (only) spot for using internet (WiFi).
Hola! We are Wilma and Harm. A Dutch couple who have seen a lot of the world in our lives. Since 2019 we are living in Muy Muy, Nicaragua. Here we are enjoying our retirement in the local climate. We like to be active around our coffee farm and we love to have guests hanging around at our finca. Please feel welcome at our special place in the beautiful nature of Muy Muy.
The Finca is located at the edge of the Reserva Natural Cerro Cumaica / Cerro Alegre nature reserve which has beautifull hiking spots. You can also explore the area by horse. The highest peaks are up to 1100 meters. The village Muy Muy is a typical Nicaraguan village with several comedors and a municipal market with fresh vegetables. The nearest big city is Matagalpa. There is a secluded waterfall you can visit and there is a pool in the river close by to cool down if you need to. Other activities you can do are: horseback riding, local cooking class, visit local farms (cows, corn, beans, coffee, etc.) and do excursions to nice canyons. And ofcourse, many more things. It’s all up to you.
