The property includes a cosy cottage in a village called Exloo on one of the highest points of the Drentse Hondsrug (included on the UNESCO world heritage list). Behind the accommodation, on 250 m, lays a large moorland named ‘t Molenveld, surrounded by forests. Also 250 m away you’ll find old farmland, bordered by forests. You find walking and cycling routes directly near the cottage. They are also accessible for mountain bikes. Emmen, Assen, Groningen and even Germany are 10 to max 45 minutes by car.. Want to see dolmens? Just at a 10 min walk you’ll find one of the many that are located in this area. Walking, cycling, but also visiting Wildlands (Zoo), the Dutch TT, a museum or some shopping, in other words for simply enjoying the beautiful landscape of the Drentse Hondsrug, you will be in the right place here.

The reason why I once chose to live here is the beautiful environment, the peace and quietness it brings. On the other hand not too far from shops, museums, restaurants, etc. I love animals and the region her is ideal to keep my horses.
