Welcome to ‘Under the Green Roof’. Our house is on the edge of the beautiful Veluwe. It is the perfect place to escape from the daily hustle and bustle. Although you stay in the middle of nature, you don't have to give up comfort. Think comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and Nespresso machine and a bathroom with walk-in shower. Outside, a wood-fired hot tub is at your disposal. Whether you are looking for peace or adventure, everything comes together in our ‘green’ house. Inside, this sustainable cottage with its green sedum roof (hence the name) is stylishly finished in wood. The large glass doors let in lots of light. Thanks to good insulation and underfloor heating, you can enjoy your stay here any time of year. Standard accommodation sleeps 5. There is also an extra baby bed so the smallest can sleep comfortably too. Furthermore, the cottage is equipped with a washing machine, dryer, oven, dishwasher, four-burner gas hob, fridge with freezer, television and internet. In the shed you will find a BBQ and seats for the terrace.

Nature and surroundings Under the Green Roof stands with some 45 other cottages on a small-scale holiday park on the edge of the Veluwe. An ideal place for families with (young) children and people looking for peace and nature. Wake up in the morning to the birdsong and walk straight into the woods, where you can hike for hours and build huts too. Climb the Bostoren tower (3.5 km) or go to Klimbos Garderen (5.5 km), where you can soar as high as 25 metres. Want to go swimming? Putten has a subtropical swimming pool with outdoor pool (6 km), or lay down your towel on the beach of the Veluwemeer (10 km). Apeldoorn (Julianatoren, Apenheul), Harderwijk (Dolfinarium) and picturesque Amersfoort are also nearby. Putten itself has a pleasant centre with good eateries and a weekly market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Furthermore: numerous walking and cycling routes, 3 golf courses, Sand Sculptures Garderen, Radio Kootwijk (heath, sheepfold), really too much to mention. Not to mention that large green garden with hot tub!
