The Grutte Fiif Safari Lodge (or the Big Five Safari Lodge in Frisian) is an attractively furnished, luxurious glamping tent for 4 people with all the desired luxury and comfort. Uniquely located at the Yn'e Lijte water sports campsite in Grou, in its own spot in the green. De Grutte Fiif has a sheltered backyard with Weber BBQ, seats and a sandbox. The Grutte Fiif Safari Lodge has a a total living space of 50m, including a veranda with an extra outdoor kitchen (gas stove and pancake maker) and . The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. In the kitchen you will find a dishwasher, Nespresso machine, coffee maker, microwave and complete inventory. The living area inside has a lovely sofa and chairs, plus a TV with Chromecast On the covered veranda there is a second gas stove and pancake maker. So when the weather is nice you don't have to cook indoors and you can keep an eye on the children outside if necessary.

We are water sports enthusiasts and love Grou. We rent out this luxury Safari Lodge and also the luxury holiday lodges Rietreiger and Ralreiger on the island and water sports park Yn'e Lijte. We hope that we can let others enjoy the hospitality of Grou and Friesland. We will not be in Grou ourselves but are always easily accessible by telephone. Of courese, we will do our utmost to make sure you will have a great time in the Grutte Fiif Safarilodge.

At the Yn'e Lijte Park there are chalets, holiday homes, tents and camping sites. Yn'e Lijte is located on an island, connected by a bridge and bicycle/foot ferry to the cozy water sports village of Grou. In high season until 10.00 pm in the evening, so you can go to Grou by foot/bike and ferry. The park has an outdoor swimming pool (approximately only 70 cm deep) for the children, a playground and restaurant. The park practices separate waste processing.
