Dating back to 1886, the Hotel Restaurant Goerres provides you with a comfortable base in charming Akkrum, Heerenveen. You can take off for a sail through the surrounding Frisian lakes and villages. The hotel’s bicycles also offer a fun and active way of exploring the wider area. Just a few minutes from the railway station, Goerres offers excellent transport connections. From this property Heerenveen is 7 minutes away and Leeuwarden is 20 minutes away.

«We were putting our boat away for the winter and it’s hard to do last items while on the boat. Having the hotel worked out great. It was lovely! Not very busy this time of year but dinner and breakfast both excellent. Staff super!»
