Comfortable bungalow with fenced garden, close to beach and nature – dog friendly The Kingfisher is a single-storey, detached holiday home for up to 5 guests, located in a peaceful and green area just a short drive from the coastal villages of Petten and Schoorl. Perfect for families and travellers with dogs. Upon arrival, you’ll enter the spacious, fully fenced southwest-facing garden through a private gate – ideal for enjoying the sun, or for children and pets to play safely. On the side of the house, you’ll find a sunny terrace with outdoor furniture. Inside, the cosy living room features a comfortable seating area and a wood-burning stove – perfect for cooler days. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with an induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, fridge, Dolce Gusto and filter coffee machines, kettle and all necessary kitchenware. The bungalow includes three bedrooms: Bedroom 1: Bunk bed for 3 people (3 single beds) Bedroom 2: One small double bed (100 x 200 cm) Bedroom 3: One double bed (160 x 200 cm) The bathroom has a rain shower, washbasin and toilet. Hotel-quality bed linen and towels are provided, and all beds will be made upon arrival. Park Groenhart is located in the peaceful, green village of Dirkshorn, in the northern part of North Holland – an ideal base for nature lovers, families and those looking to explore the Dutch coast and charming towns. Nature & outdoor activities The area is perfect for walking and cycling through typical Dutch polder landscapes. Within 15–20 minutes by car, you can reach the beautiful beaches and dunes of Petten, Callantsoog and Schoorl. The nearby Dirkshorn Lake is great for swimming, paddleboarding or fishing.
