This houseboat in the most beautiful part of Friesland has all the luxury you want (central heating, bath, shower, washing machine, dishwasher) and has every facility you need. You'll have your own little harbor for a boat you can rent on 10 minutes distance. There is a picnic table in your garden with an outside barbecue. Great place for swimming, fishing, boating, cycling and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
We're Alexander and Joke. We love the countryside, especially the surroundings of our houseboat "Sweltsje". The tranquility, the always changing water around, the wide range of flowers and animals: it is so beautiful! The best way to get to our work is by boat!
Houseboat "Sweltsje" is situated in a national park, called "De Alde Feanen", one of the most beautiful sites in Friesland. This stunning countryside is full of lakes, ditches, water birds and small villages.
