This villa is truly one of the most beautiful stately old houses from the 1930th of Amsterdam's so called Gold Coast. It has two floors, offers a lovely romantic garden where guests are welcome to sit in the sun ( if there is sun!) do their emailing or just sit and chill. We can also provide a safe parking place at the premises. Your hosts Xaviera and Philip welcome you and offer you a homely and comfortable atmosphere to make you feel at ease. Smoking is allowed only on your terraces or in the garden, NOT in our house. In our living room breakfast is being served from 8 till 11 a.m. The house is full of art work and since both Xaviera and her man Philip are collectors it is almost like a museum when you walk through it. The cozy and spacious Goliath room has a balcony and sitting/working area. The much bigger, pleasant, comfortable and modern Luxury Loft studio is well equipped with a kitchen, sitting area, beautiful bathroom and a separate connected office/working space with a desk, in the office we can also place an extra bed for a third person. All rooms have fast internet connection, air conditioning, coffee/tea maker and fridge and access to garden, terrace or balcony.

Xaviera's Happy House is a delightful bohemian kind of place for friends or family to enjoy a fun vacation or a business stay in spacious rooms with big comfortable beds. It is a fifteen minute walk from the city centre, 10 minutes from RAI Congress center or world trade building. Around corner of chic Beethovenstraat full of trendy boutiques, restaurants etc . tramstops 5 and 24 will easily take you to the centre of Amsterdam. Quiet rooms close to hustle and bustle of town. Delightful breakfast is included. Bikes can be rented and Parking is available at private Parking area for euro 20 per day. Xaviera and her husband also offer dinner parties for up to 12 people. Xaviera is a worldwide well known author . The Happy House is animal friendly and has 1 lovely Siamese cat and a cute little doggy, who are well trained and won't set foot in the guests rooms. If allergic for animals please do bring your anti allergy pills

If you decide to bring a doggy along or a cat for your information there is the lovely Beatrix Park just around the corner. We do appreciate if you warn us what size animal you intend to bring. Price per dog ( tall or small) is euro 20 extra. The guests are requested to LOOK after their animals and preferably try to take them along during the day, but can leave them in the room when it gets dark. Both Xaviera and her man Philip can and will inform you about all the fun things to do in Amsterdam or musea to visit. We even offer a private taxi service to the airport for euro 40. The Beethovenstraat is an elegant yet not snobbish street with all kind of restaurants and people are friendly and helpful if you get lost somehow. There is a major supermarket within 2 minutes walk in case you want to fill up your fridge in your room.
