Welcome to our charming beach house on Sommarøya, a picturesque island in the stunning Arctic archipelago. This beautiful retreat features sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and breathtaking views.
Our beach house consists of two apartments:
Ground Floor Apartment: A cozy 1-bedroom apartment, fully renovated in 2024. It offers a lovely garden view with a partial sea view.
Top Floor Apartment: A spacious 3-bedroom apartment with panoramic views of the sea, surrounding islands, and majestic mountains. This unit also has access to a outdoor wood fired sauna!
Immerse yourself in the wonders of nature year-round. Witness the mesmerizing aurora borealis in winter and bask in the glow of the midnight sun during summer.
Sommarøya is 1 hour drive from the airport, rental car is recommended:)
The village has a convenience store, hotel, fast food diner, gas station.
Rent a boat or kayak nearby, or join a guided sea eagle safari.

The house is 1 hour drive from the airport. Parking outside the door. Renting a car is recommended.
Sommarøya is also available by bus, but somewhat limited service. The nearest bus stop is Sommarøya Baptistkirka (50m). Bus travel planner: search for tromskortet
Sommarøya is a small island, and You can reach everything by foot.
The convenience store is a 5 minute walk, the diner 5 minutes. The hotel is on the neighbor island, but still only 15 minutes to walk.
