I am lucky to own this location surrounded by stunning nature, a seldom scenery and rare wildlife, and I am lucky to have you experience it. I enjoy being outdoor. In my free time I hike, run, ski and fish beside ordinary family activities. I have 4 children and you might see them during your stay. Annalisa (medical doctor), Camilla (engineer), Elisabeth (soon doctor to become) and Jonathan (20 years young) are all young and friendly people to your service if you run into them. We all use this farmhouse from time to time. If you meet us you can always ask us whatever if you need help or information. Welcome to Efjord and Stetind Resort - Cabin Stetind. This practical modern cabin s is situated in the midst of an untouched, unique and breath-taking landscape. This place has high standard and is modern and compact including bathroom, shower, toilet, kitchen, dining area, sofa, beds, beddings, coffee machine and in-floor heating system. You have easy access to the property either you are travelling south, north or if you just want to breathe, get energized and relax for some days. Wrap yourself into the endless view and weather of all seasons from the cabin and on many of the trails and peaks in the near-by-area. Enjoy drinking the natural water being provided by the surrounding mountains, it is as natural and fresh as it can be. Or just explore the private beach of interesting jewels from the ocean. Here you will find guaranteed quietness and mindfulness, you can enjoy it...the sound of quietness, tranquillity. When did you experience this? Efjord is a rare natural location, seldom rare! Here you can discover unexplored hiking trails and locations in between massive mountains shaped by time and weather surrounded by a clean ocean. Here you can rest, fish, hike, swim, cross country ski, climb, pick berries and hunt in untouched beautiful nature. Around you are animals like porpoise, moose, fox, reindeer, eagles, seal, endless of birds to mention a few. You are free to roam and explore on your own the property boardering the ocean and the property up-hill to the very top of the mountain. There are no animals or birds in this area to be afraid of. They respect you and we respect them being who we are leaving no tracks behind (zero garbage and zero litter). Boat rental period: May 1 - Nov 1. -17 ft boat, outboard 60 hp motor. Private sauna to rent starting April 1 - situated next to the dock by the ocean Pool/Jacuzzi to rent - starting April 1 - overlooking the ocean and the mountains. It is open all year.

Efjord is undeveloped, luckily. It has no stores and very little infrastructure. The main road, E6, taking you north and south, cuts through Efjord. Ballangen, a small community about 15 minute drive from the property going in the south direction has grocery stores, pharmacy, doctor office, restaurant (at the campground), gas station, car repair stores, soccer stadium, several farms and more than 1 000 (yes more than one thousand) hiking trails and ski trails. The Norwegian national mountain, Stetind, is only 10 minute drive away from the property. This is a massive mountain peak you can climb (to the top) or hike and ski almost to the top. There is a parking lot in the area and a good trail up towards the very top. The last portion of the trail you will need certified climbers to guide you unless you know how to climb safely. Kjerna is another popular place to hike with a stunning view only 7-8 minutes to drive in the south direction. Verdenssvaet, a continues rock granite formation, is a must have to visit Also if you like fishing the ocean will provide either by boat or from the shoreline. It is true what the fisherman said: "stop you complaining my son....if you keep your fishing lure in the water.....you will catch fish". No fishing license is needed for the ocean. For freshwater fishing you need a license and can buy it at the gas station in Ballangen. If you are in the area around Narvik and Efjord in the wintertime there are more than 100 mountains peaks to ski. You will see no or few people and you can enjoy the powder all by your self. You will find berries like blueberries, cloudberries and cranberries in us the Fall. You can pick anywhere and it is free. If you are a hunter I will let you hunt birds on the property but please let us make an agreement first. This needs to be within the season and safe and legal for everyone. Hunters hunt moose on the property in the Fall but this is only for a specific group with an agreement with me.
