Stay in Sørvær Finnmark's fishing island in Northern Norway. A holiday house of 115 sqm2 located between mountains and sea. The house is decorated in a warm and beautiful retro design. The entrance hall offers plenty of space to hang clothes and outdoor equipment. The first floor has a living room with lounge and dining table, kitchen area with all necessary equipment for self catering and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The second floor consists of 4 bedrooms, as well as a toilet with sink and mirror. Large porch outside. The 4 bedrooms can sleep 7 people, 2 of them have double beds, one of them also has a baby cot. There are possibilities for adding extra beds if you have more guests.

The house is located in Sørvær a fishing village in Hasvik Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. The village is located on the western tip of the island of Sørøya, looking out across the Lopphavet Sea. Popular destination because of the good fishing lakes. Come visit us for fishing, fjords, Midnight summer, hiking, sea cruises and more. Sørøya is often called "The green isle of the North". The annual "Sørøydagene" (Sørøya Days) event takes place here each July. Sørøya is renowned for its big fish, and several world records for fish have been set here. We can offer a pick-up service for our guests, depending on the weather. Otherwise, there are good connections to and from Sørøya. In the winter season we are located in Tromsø and offer daily Day and Night time cruises to see the Northern Lights, Nature, Fishing and the beautiful winter landscape of Tromsø.

Sørvær is an idyllic fishing village with a good starting point for trips both on mountains and sea. Great place for family holidays, boys / girls trips, hunting, hiking and (sport)fishing trips. The house is also within short walking distance to amenities such as a small grocery shop and pub. You can rent our catamaran boat 'Havcruise' for fishing trips, bird watching, beach shovel etc. We also have a 22 feet motorboat named Elfrida. See photos.
