Just a 4-minute walk behind the Royal Palace and only 200 meters from the Airport Shuttle Bus, this 70 m² 2-bedroom, garden-level apartment offers an unforgettable location. Great for relaxing evenings after exploring Oslo. The lounge and kitchen get natural light but has no city view. Please note: The apartment has 14 steps down to its entrance and is therefore not ideal for guests with limited mobility. What guests love: 1) Prime location behind the Royal Palace. 2) The cosy athmosphere of the aparment. 3) The quiet comfort of the space. Perfect for: * Travelers who value a central location and quiet sleep. * Professionals or families looking for a practical and comfortable base.
STIG, the host, is originally from the area not far from the world famous Geiranger, he loves to travel, ride his motorcycle, and spend time with his family and his dog. Stig enjoys meeting people from all over the world and sharing stories and laughter. NINA is the co-host and she lives in the same building on the 1st floor. She will be meeting and greeting our guests. She is an adventure-loving diplomat-turned-retiree who currently calls Oslo home. She is from Tromsø (deep within the Arctic Circle, Northern Norway!). With an incurable soft spot for cats and a quick wit, she always looks for the bright side of life.
This is a part of Oslo’s Embassy District. Tree-lined streets, elegant 19th-century architecture, and well-kept gardens create a charming atmosphere. The area is popular for its many restaurants, bars, and coffee shops, and is often frequented by politicians and celebrities. You’ll also find plenty of casual dining and fast-food outlets, as well as two very convenient public transport stops — one of them served by the Airport Shuttle Bus (line FB5/FB5B). Most buildings here are heritage-listed, ensuring the character of the neighborhood is beautifully preserved. And of course, the Royal Palace and the Prime Minister’s residence are among the area’s main highlights.
