Welcome to our charming and modern cabin, perfect for families, located at the peak of the idyllic Eggedal. Constructed in 2011, the cabin has been meticulously maintained and is frequently used by us to ensure that everything is always in top-notch condition. Our cabin stands majestically on its own, with the historic Gamlesetra as its nearest neighbor. Embraced by nature, the cabin provides a sense of being in a private oasis, whilst remaining easily accessible. From the cabin's doorstep, miles of well-groomed ski trails extend out, inviting you to both relaxing and challenging treks in the beautiful landscape. For cycling enthusiasts, the newly built bike path from Haglebu to Norefjell offers exciting exploration in the mountains. Please note that tenants must bring their own bed linens and towels. For your convenience, electricity, firewood for cozy fireplace evenings, and internet are included in the rental. To make cooking easier, you will also find a selection of basic groceries and spices in the kitchen. You're heartily welcome to utilize these in your culinary creations. We are the proud owners of this beautiful cabin in Eggedal. We have found so much joy and peace in the fresh mountain air and are thrilled to share this experience with you. As hosts, we love seeing our guests unwind, relax, and find their own tranquility in the mountains. We have a great love for outdoor activities - whether it's a ski trip in fresh, powdery snow or a bike ride along the summer trails. We also have a passion for food and understand how important it is to have a well-equipped kitchen. Therefore, we've ensured our cabin has everything you need to prepare delightful meals. In the winter, miles of ski trails stretch in all directions, and the wonderful, groomed ski trails that take you to Norefjell, Tempelseter, Høgevarde, and Haglebu are right next to the cabin. You can go straight from the waxing shed to the ski trail! There's also a ski slope at Tempelseter with a T-bar lift about a 10-minute drive away, or it's only about a 40-minute drive to the Norefjell ski resort (toll road). Last winter, a service was established that allows you to order a minibus from the cabin to the ski slope for NOK 75/25 (adult/child & youth) from Friday to Sunday. You can book the trip via the 'Helt frem Norefjell' app. In the summertime, a trip on the Madonna Trail is highly recommended! This is a beautiful stone-set trail suitable for all ages, with a great destination! At 1020 meters above sea level stands the statue 'Madonna with Child'. Otherwise, a trip to Høgevarde (1459 m above sea level), Istjern, or Ranten (1419 m above sea level) are also very nice high-mountain hikes! Gamlesetervannet lake is a stone's throw from the cabin, and with a fishing license, there's a good chance of catching a trout or two.
