So welcome to homely and family run Strandheimen – the perfect place to find peace and lowering the shoulders in beautiful nature. In our home we have several room types, cottages and a tipi. The garden has available BBQ grill and sun terraces for nice morning coffee or a cold drink during fantastic sunset from the 2.floor terrace ☺ It’s also a dining room with television in the second floor by the terrace. Experience a Norwegian home in a beautiful setting on the beach just 20 minutes from the busy Trondheim, and also by the Pilgrims route. At Strandheimen you can experience Norwegian nature with all types of weather year round. In summertime you might feel the warm weather and shining sun, beautiful colorful flowers and very green grass and leaves on the trees. In the cold season you may sit nice and warm by the fire, enjoying the weather from the window overlooking the bay: One day sunshine and completely calm sea - another day rain and big, white, rough waves… Perhaps you would like to take a walk along the beach, and if you are lucky (or unlucky ?), you’ll get to feel all Oysand's kinds of weather during your walk ! Just 15 minutes away by foot is Gaulosen Nature Reserve, which is one of the largest Norwegian bird sanctuary. If calm weather, we can make a fire in the garden and everything is set for a good conversation or just sit quiet and listen to the sparks.
