Me and my family, we have had background in this place. I have lived in Nyksund for many years and I am really happy here. Some words about my hobbies: I own an antique sho punder the flat, which is called Delpen Bokcafe. I am also a writer who is focused mainly on writing books about the unique history of Nyksund and people who lived here. If you like to speak about Nyksund or history, you can find me in the shop :-) or in the former fishing factory which is situated next to the flat. I use to prepare fish here, for example torkfish.

Dear friends, my name is Atle and I would like to offer you two bedroom flat Egga for your holiday. Nyksund is a costal fishing village with a unique history. Egga, as we used to call this flat, is 45m2 fully furnished flat situated in the building directly on the pier. 1 x double bed and 1x bunk bed, private kitchen with kitchenware, private bathroom with shower and toilet, table and chairs and wardrobes. You can enjoy view to Skjerpingsundet and partially to the sea from this flat every day of your holiday :-)

I think that you can find here everything what you might need. However, Nyksund is a small village you can find here restaurants, bar, galleries, delpen bokcafe -antiques, books but also waffles and coffee. Food shopping: you need to drive back to Myre. Here are f.e. Rema, Coop, Bunnpris…. The Northern sea is only cca 70 m from the flat. Walking, hiking, from 180 m (Nyksundøya – fabulous view and a lovely lighthouse) to 1,4km ( Langøya - starting point for Dronningruta, Nyksund 1,4 km ) I cannot forget geocaching. Check GPS :-) If you are interest in hiking tours or renting bikes, I can recommend you the service of my friend in the neighborhood. Under the flat there is also possibility to do water sport – sea rafting, boat shuttle. Bird and seal watching is also often searched. And of course whale safari. We have already had whales in Nyskund years ago. It is difficult to predict the hour you will see northern lights but cca from September to March you can enjoy them. After dark season is almost 24 hours of daylight coming from cca April to August. Nyksund can be the place for your next holiday memories. You are welcome. I have been looking forward to meet you :-)
