We, Marcel and Nicole, moved from the Netherlands to Norway in 2010 to enjoy the Norwegian nature. The first 6 years in Norway, we have run Hulbak Camping & Hytter in Hemsedal. Next to many good experiences, we also have learned much about tourism; both summer and winter. In 2016 we decided to take over Fagernes Gård in beautiful Velfjord. We will continue running the farm and we will expand the possibilities to stay overnight with us. The coming years we will do everything so that you: - can stay in a beautiful and peaceful environment - can buy berries, vegetables and other farm products - can buy a fishing license or rent a boat and canoe - can join a guided tour.

We, Marcel and Nicole, welcome you at this idyllic spot in beautiful Velfjord. We moved to this place because we find it incredibly beautiful her. We wish that you also can enjoy the peace and freedom at Velfjord Camping & Hytter! You can stay in a well-equipped cottage or in your tent, caravan or motor home at the campsite. In the neighbourhood you can experience many exciting adventures. You can, among other things, fish, canoe, hike and swim. You get the feeling like you're in the wilderness. At the foot of Lomsdal-Visten National Park and close to Børgefjell National Park and the coast of Helgeland, there is much to do in both summer and winter. We can give you advice on possible activities in the area. And if you want, we offer guided hiking and canoe tours. We allow pets in the cottages, only on request and for a fee (see "important messages"). Velfjord provides sufficient opportunities for great experiences. At the foot of Lomsdal-Visten National Park, near Børgefjell National Park and the coast of Helgeland, there is much to do. In summertime as well as in wintertime. Here you can make a canoe trip, you can catch a trout or if you're lucky a salmon. Here you can see a moose passing at dusk and you can see a beaver working on his lodge. Here you can swim in our lake and overlook a fjord during a hike. Here you can see the northern lights in the winter and enjoy the long bright days in the summer. Visit Nevernes Havn, Hommelstø Bygdemuseum.

Bed linen and towels are not included. You can rent bedlinen on site for NOK 50 per person and a towel for 10 NOK per person. When travelling with pets, please note that an extra charge of 150 NOK - 500 NOK per pet, per stay applies. Please note that final cleaning is not included. Guests can clean the accommodation themselves, or pay a final cleaning fee. Depending on which cottage and the number of nights the fee is minimum 150 NOK and maximum 500 NOK, bedlinen is 60 NOK and towels 15 NOK
