Meet Hans-Arne We are a married couple in our early 60s with three grown-up sons, and this is our dream cabin. We live in the neighboring municipality of Kvæfjord, which is an hour's drive + 15 min ferry ride away. One of the things we love most about the cabin is the very special smell of heather and sea that greets us when we get out of the car. The view is absolutely outstanding and the elements come close to the house wall, summer and winter. In the summer, the sun shines 22 hours a day, and there's no light pollution here, so both the starry sky and the Northern Lights are experienced even more intensely out here. It's simply magical.
