Our homestay is situated in the heart of the old town of Kathmandu, offering an authentic experience of the city’s rich culture and local daily life. Just a few minutes walk from all the major center points of the city, including Thamel, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Ason Bazaar, and more, the location is perfect for travelers who want to explore the city on foot. Despite being so central, the neighborhood is peaceful, safe, and full of local charm, with everything you need close by, such as local markets, a range of local cuisines (Nepali, Newari, Tibetan, etc.), ATMs, pharmacies, and public transport. Whatever you're looking for, Kathmandu can probably offer it! Our family have been living in the neighbourhood for over 200 years and so we will be able to give you advice and suggestions for your stay.
