Built in 1932 our Californian style villa hides a secret. Set down from the street, you look down into our front garden. From the front our single storied house looks quite cute but as you make your way round to the Garden Apartment in our back garden we become double storied. With an open vista of the Cathedral and the tree fill hill basking in the north facing sunshine. All our accommodation opens and looks out onto our back garden and is separate from the main house. With private access it allows our guests their privacy but the convenience of us being there should they need us. So you can relax and enjoy your stay with us, chatting when you feel the need.
We love living here in Nelson and have enjoyed it every since we discovered the city one sunny morning way back in 2008. Surrounded by lovely beaches and places to explore we wanted to share this experience with other people from around the world and the country.
Set in the leafy streets behind the city Cathedral. We are conveniently situated for all that Nelson city has to offer. Be it cafes, restaurants, shops or local walks they are all on our doorstep. We are 7 kl from the airport and 45 mins drive from the Abel Tasman Park.
