The Barn Bed and Breakfast is a rural property 15 minutes from Dunedin. The barn itself is separate from the house and is completely self-contained. There is just the one bedroom so you will not be disturbed by other guests. A second room (for 2) is available upon request. We are not a hotel or a motel, but offer country-style accommodation nestled in the beautiful hills above peaceful Blueskin Bay. A short part of the drive to the property is on a gravel road. We would love to welcome you at The Barn but please be sure we offer the type of accommodation you are looking for.
Blueskin Bay is a lovely tidal estuary with stunning beaches, bush walks and the world famous Orokonui Ecosanctuary. Bikes can be hired from the local art gallery, and the cafe at Blueskin Nurseries serves excellent coffee and food. A 15-minute drive takes you to central Dunedin with its many tourist attractions, restaurants and galleries. You will never be short of something to do when you visit this part of the country.
