Located in a quiet rural setting along side the Kahurangi National Park, with beach access just over the road this is a great spot to base yourself for Golden Bay's adventures or relax with a book for a picnic on the beach. Its a short walk to the café and shops and all sorts of options around for activities including: kayaking, beach biking, a variety of hikes, fishing, swimming, caving and rock climbing. This is a private downstairs unit on the ground floor of our home. We have insulated the unit with soundproofing but have a young family so you may occasionally hear some noise during the day.

Quiet, no exit road along the beach front. Picnic areas in both directions and friendly locals. The best way to get around Collingwood is by foot. For trips out of town there is a great hitchhiking culture in Golden Bay, however having your own vehicle will allow you to get the most out of your stay here.
