The beach is directly across the road, and shops, cafés, playgrounds, tennis courts, mini golf, and the skate park are all within easy reach. You're also well placed to explore the wider Coromandel region, with popular destinations such as Cathedral Cove, Hahei, Hot Water Beach, and Whangamatā all a short drive away. Closer to home, Pauanui’s network of walkways and bike trails offers safe, scenic routes through this much-loved holiday spot. Just over 2 hours from Auckland, Pauanui is one of the most popular holiday towns in the Coromandel.
