Set on our 74 acre beef farm within a park like setting with extensive views over the sparkling Firth of Thames, Miranda Shorebird Sanctuary and the Coromandel Peninsula. A private spacious two bed unit with bedrooms interconnected, both with queen size beds. Own entrance, plenty of parking. The kitchenette has a nespresso pod coffee machine, microwave, mini fridge, toaster and kettle. Air conditioner/heat pump, lounge area with TV. Bathroom has a shower, heated towel rail, underfloor heating, iron and hairdryer. Max 4 people. School age children welcome, but would have to share the second queen size bed.

Our 5 sons have now left home and we enjoy meeting people from all around the world. As well as travelling, beef farming, gardening, entertaining and family. We built our new home in 2023 and the unit is attached to one end of our home. We have extensively planted and landscaped the property with many different ornamental trees which has attracted a variety of birds and pheasants.

Miranda is a coastal location surrounded by farmland on one side and the coast on the other side with spectacular views over the water to the Coromandel Peninsula. Well known for the Shorebird Sanctuary where you can watch the migratory birds in their natural habitat. The scenic walking and cycling trails on the Hauraki Rail trail are a great way to view the birds, farmland and the stunning beaches along the coastline. We are also only a short drive to the spectacular Coromandels and its stunning beaches and native forests. Ngatea is only a 20 minute drive away where you can stock up on groceries and visit the Ngatea water gardens, where you can take a picnic and enjoy the gardens and quirky signs, its a great family outing. We are only 1 hour from Auckland airport.
