Welcome to our peaceful guest suite at the top of Rangitahi, one of Raglan’s most scenic and popular neighborhoods. Architecturally designed by the owner, this brand-new, fully self-contained studio blends urban comfort with a relaxed coastal vibe. Enjoy stunning views of Mount Karioi and unforgettable sunsets from your private deck. It also offers walking access to a tennis court, basketball court, and a local café. A perfect retreat for those who love nature, comfort, and a touch of adventure. Casa Karioi is located on the same property as our main home, but with no children or pets nearby, ensures a quiet and peaceful stay. The studio features a queen-size bedroom and bathroom, a small kitchen with an induction hob and microwave, and a cozy living/dining area on the ground floor. A mezzanine, accessed by a wooden ladder and separated by a privacy screen, offers a low Japanese-style queen bed under a half-height ceiling (90 to 160 cm), perfect for sleeping or relaxing. The space is ideal for small families or close friends travelling light, offering a cozy stay for your Raglan adventures. The mezzanine is prepared and made available only for bookings of three or four guests; bookings for two guests will use the main bedroom only. Please note: The mezzanine is accessed via a wooden ladder and is half-height (160 cm). It is not suitable for unsupervised children, guests with reduced mobility, or anyone who may find ladder access difficult.

I'm Davide, originally from Italy & now lucky to call Raglan, New Zealand home – a little slice of paradise. I live here with Sandra, my Peruvian partner & architect, who designed both our home & the guest house we’re hosting. I love surfing, traveling & cooking (yes, pizza is serious business!). For dining in and cocktails, Ulo’s or Iso Bistro are local favorites. If you’re after a quick and delicious takeaway, try Piace Pizza or Pasta Paradiso.
