This is our family’s much-loved beach batch. It is simple, relaxed, and set up for easy holiday living. It’s in a great spot right on the bush line, with awesome 180° views of the ocean and the sun setting over the water each night. The batch has two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a bathroom. It’s comfy and practical, with all the basics you’ll need. Because it’s our family place, you’ll notice some of our things around. It’s a real Kiwi batch, not a fancy holiday home, and we hope you’ll feel right at home too. Just a two-minute walk away, you’ll find a local dairy and takeaway with classic Kiwi fish and chips, great burgers and other essentials. Another quick stroll takes you to the local pub with great meals, cold drinks, and a sunny garden bar. There are plenty of good fishing spots and boat ramps nearby, as well as swimming holes and lovely bush walks close by. Back at the batch, there’s a fish filleting area and plenty of off-street parking for cars and boats. A great spot for an easy, no-fuss Kiwi beach holiday, laid-back, comfortable, and full of character.
