Accommodation at "Crinkly Cottage" is a one-bedroom self-contained cottage with a private bathroom and a living area located 2kms off SH3 at Hangatiki on a working Dairy Farm. The cottage has parking onsite. A private entrance allows you to come and go as you want. We welcome our guests to experience life on the farm. Feel free to take a walk, watch the cows being milked, calves being fed, or just sit and relax! A continental breakfast is provided, including a choice of oats, muesli, weetbix, cornflakes, fruit, yogurt, and toast with a variety of toppings to enjoy. Everything you may need is supplied. There is a well-equipped kitchenette with cooking facilities, a microwave and dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning, good quality linen and towels, gas hot water, and a queen bed.

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to you. Crinkly Cottage is located on a working dairy farm hosted by a friendly family. I am your host, Paula, with several other people you're likely to see around and about, including my husband, Phil, and 3 children Leah, Rex, and Izzy who live on the farm and Phil's parents, Maxine & Steve, live on site, we are all happy to help if you need anything! We are located in the middle of Te Kuiti, Otorohanga, and Waitomo Caves Village. With our location only 2kms off SH3 and approximately 10 kms away from all three locations, it's a short drive to experience our local attractions including the famous Waitomo Caves, black water rafting, local walks, zip lining, Otorohanga Kiwi House, Waitomo Golf Course, The local restaurants, Cafe's and shops in Te Kuiti and Otorohanga towns. Go a little further, and within an hour, you can arrive at one of the West Coast beaches (Kawhia, Mokau, Marokopa, Raglan). Stay longer and we are in a great location to be used as a base for day trips to Mt Ruapehu, Rotorua, Matamata (Hobbiton)Taupo or New Plymouth to name just a few. There is plenty to see and do but we are also a great place to sit and relax!
