The privately accessed guest wing of our Lockwood lodge is yours to make yourself at home. There are two bedrooms (queen and two singles) and a private bathroom. You will also have sole use of our Studio where you can spread out and relax with views over our horse arena and looking out over the Waikato River. The studio is access via a paved courtyard, it contains the lounge and kitchenette with everything you will need to make your trip easy if you choose to cook for yourself. (kettle, microwave, hot plates, toasted sandwich maker, George Foreman Grill and fridge freezer).
If you're travelling with a trailer or large vehicle we have the space to accommodate you.
Ellie is a horse trainer and the property is set up as a horse training facility, Mike works in Taupo and they have two young children- Harlee and Taylor.
Located between Rotorua and Taupo and conveniently located just off state highway 5 this idyllic farm stay provides you with the perfect location to head off for the day and explore the local attractions.
We are a short drive away from the popular Orakei Korako geothermal park and cave.
With views over the Waikato River you will wake up to the ultimate sunrise
