Large, private, rear property, tucked away in the heart of Mapua. Has a pretty flower garden, established trees and views to the Mt Arthur range. We also have a productive vegetable/berry garden, with fruit trees, and free range chickens. The two bedrooms available can accommodate up to four adults comfortably. The beds can be made up in any configuration of singles or super-king doubles. The studio bedrooms are joined to the main home but are a separate wing, they both have a small kitchenette with tea/coffee provided. The rooms are equipped with a bar fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery and crockery for you bring and make your own breakfast before you head out for the day. Both rooms have there own separate bathroom each which has a shower, toilet and vanity. All rooms open out onto a verandah .

We are both keen trampers and enjoy exploring the wild and remote places of NZ. Coralie is a keen gardener and enjoys cycling, Paul is a keen photographer/artist and enjoys most outdoor pursuits, including exploring some of the extensive cave systems in the Nelson area, he also has a fishing kayak catching local fish in the season.

Mapua seems to revolve mainly around the picturesque wharf area, with galleries, shops and the choice of restaurants. Mapua has a 4 Square supermarket, fuel, chemist, and doctor's rooms. The wider area has many wineries and art studios to explore. The Great Taste Cycle trail is very popular among cyclists.
