We are a French couple in our early 60's, living in New Zealand for the last 10 years. Stone Store: Explore this historic stone building, which is the oldest commercial building in New Zealand. It houses a gift shop and a café. Kerikeri Inlet: Enjoy kayaking or sailing in the inlet. There are also walking trails along the waterfront. The Skyswing: For thrill-seekers, this attraction offers an exhilarating swing experience with stunning views of the surrounding area. Makana Chocolate Factory: Take a tour of this local chocolate factory to see how chocolates are made and enjoy some delicious samples. Wharepuke Sculpture Park: Wander through this unique park featuring outdoor sculptures set in a beautiful garden. Te Wairere Waterfall: A short hike will take you to this picturesque waterfall, ideal for a peaceful retreat in nature. We offer B&B accommodation in our main house, but our Forest Waters Bungalow is an independent unit situated in front of the main house . We look forward to meeting you!

The Forest Waters bungalow is nested on a beautiful 12 ha property, complete with an avocado orchard, a variety of fruit trees and lovely well-established trees lining the driveway and surrounding the main house and bungalow. It has a great outdoor shared kitchen, covered and protected by 2 sliding doors. Cooking can be done on either the stove or BBQ. The kitchen has a large refrigerator and an electric oven. On the ground floor of the bungalow, there is a Private bathroom with a sink, toilet, and a generous size shower. There is a steep stairway to the first floor, where the main bedroom receives lovely sunshine, and is complete with a queen bed, a single bed, and a desk for a laptop or computer. A short walk away from the kitchen, there is a vintage-style bar that is lined with wooden panels. This eclectic room with an New Zealand feel is open along the front and at one end and looks out onto a rural environment of green fields and fences. The bar has bar stools as well as a comfortable lounge area. There is a comfortable, long sofa and chairs with colourful cushions. In the bar, you can enjoy darts and other games. There is also a bar fridge. Car parking is provided for 1-2 cars and is close to the studio.

Being on the tourist route, This hideaway is away from masses but within easy reach at just 10 minutes from the airport and midway between the tranquil sands of Paihia and cosmopolitan kerikeri.
