GB’s Grand Bach, on Pakia Hill overlooking the stunning Hokianga Harbour, is just a 5-minute walk to the beach, shops, boat ramp, Heads Hokianga and gas station. Built on Bryers whenua, it began as Panorama Tearooms in 1982 and later became The Schooner Café, welcoming whānau, friends, and travellers for generations. Relax on the large private deck with harbour views. There’s ample parking for cars, boats, and jet skis. The home includes 2 queen bedrooms and a whānau room sleeping up to 6 (4 singles + bunk set), plus a portable cot on request. Spacious kitchen, dining, and lounge areas, 2 bathrooms, and laundry facilities. Amenities include TV with Freeview, BBQ, heat pump, iron, bedding, fridge, stovetop, microwave, and full kitchenware. Additional onsite options: Waikohu self-contained unit (see VRBO) and Little Houses (on request). Owner lives on site, but you’ll have the property to yourselves. No parties, smoking/vaping outside only, pets on request. Bring own beach towels. Take rubbish/recycling to Opononi refuse station.
