A private haven in the heart of Arrowtown - tranquil, contemporary Haehaenui Retreat offers a luxury experience for the discerning guest. Offering Stoked Stainless hot tub, two living areas (separate media room is detached from main house) four bedrooms, & two bathrooms. Beautiful outdoor living opens out onto the local Arrow River Reserve, with direct access to walking and cycling trails, and a 20 minute riverside stroll to cafes and restaurants of historic Arrowtown. Haehaenui (Maori for 'Arrow River'), is split over two levels. Downstairs is a luxurious lounge with woodburner fireplace and smart TV, and a modern, fully-equipped kitchen (complete with Nespresso Coffee Machine), and dining space, all with beautiful forest and mountain views. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs, and an internal access garage with laundry. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms, including the primary suite, with private bathroom, a study area and a separate toilet. All four bedrooms have queen beds. Adjacent to the garden hot tub is an additional detached media room, with its own fireplace and PlayStation 5 - the perfect retreat for teenagers. Haehaenui Retreat has underfloor central heating for cold and snowy nights. In the summer months, throw open the windows and listen to the hum of the Arrow River. (Please note we cannot accept bookings for children under the age of 8 years, due to the location of the property, bordering a river reserve. The property is only partially fenced).

Haehaenui Retreat is a 15-20 minute stroll from historic Arrowtown’s main street, with boutique retail stores, Dorothy Brown Cinema, Lakes Museum, cafes and restaurants, historic Chinese Village, and popular Arrow River track. Outdoor adventure awaits with an amazing 120km network of cycle and running trails to explore. Five Mile’s Retail Centre and Countdown Supermarket are 15 minutes by car, with Queenstown an easy 20-25 minute drive. Arrowtown’s Four-Square superette is a 2 minute drive from your accommodation. The property is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, close to the Arrow River Reserve.
