You'll love this cozy warm beautifully laid out studio, situated down a private right of way. Our section has 2 units one we live in and one for you to enjoy and relax in. Situated only 5km's to the township of Ohakune. Rangataua is a small village which has a history of the timber industry and railway. We are fortunate enough to live close to Rangataua forest where you can mountain bike, tramp or just walk through this beautiful part of New Zealand, if you're lucky you may even hear the Kiwi & moreporks on a calm night. Rangataua offers spectacular views of the mountain.
Our space is light, bright with quirky pictures & has a feeling of total relaxation. Our new porch was added on in May 2023, for warmth & privacy.
I’m a mother of 2 adult children & have been married for 34 years. I enjoy quad riding, mountain biking, walking & gardening. I’m bubbly & have a great sense of humour. Hosting gives me the opportunity to meet and greet a wide variety of people. We live in a beautiful part of NZ with lots on offer for the outdoor enthusiast.
Rangataua is a small friendly village with approximately 200 permanent residents. Rangataua's architecture is an eclectic collection of old and new, our village offers spectacular views of Turoa side of Mt Ruapehu
