Wow your guests with the double sided fireplace and the panoramic views of Lake Taupō and the mountain. Just a short drive from Taupō’s best restaurants, cafes, and activities, ONE ELEVEN ON THE MILE is more than a stay—it’s your group’s new central meeting place for creating lasting memories. We are Matt and Ashleigh Carlson, a husband and wife team. Through our own experiences of staying at other Airbnbs, we often felt they were missing something. We wanted to create a space that truly felt like home, where you had everything you needed right at your fingertips—no need to pop out to the shop for scissors because they’re already there. This is our first Airbnb build, and we have poured our hearts into creating a space that combines comfort, luxury, and the natural beauty of Taupō. We are fortunate to live in this neighbourhood and feel privileged to share it with our guests. Our goal is to create enough of a memorable experience that you’ll be eager to return and make it part of your yearly travel plans. Jarden Mile is a new subdivision only 4km from town centre. The neighbourhood is made up of mostly retirees and young families. Just a short walk away, you'll find a children's playground, tennis courts, basketball hoops and a playing field. There is also a block of local shops which include a convenience store, bottle shop, bakery, fish & chip shop and Vietnamese restaurant.
