The Barn, as its affectionately known, has been fully renovated with new flooring, paint, window dressing and updated appliances in the kitchen. The decor is modern/ country comfortable with new high quality bedding. The 2 queen bed rooms have ranchsliders to access the outside areas one ot the garden and the other to the orchard and walk in wardrobes with full length mirrors and shelving for your belongings. The double room has either 2 single beds or these become one king sized bed. We are still in the process of tiding up the external areas and gardens so please bare with us for not having this completed.

Con and Briony purchased the property in a state of disrepair and have worked hard to bring it back to its former glory. They are married with 3 children and love their home and pride themselves in trying to make your stay a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable time whether for 1 night or 1 week.

Buckland Road has some of the most stunning hill views in the Waikato and is most famous for the tourist attraction Hobbiton which is only 3.8 kms down the road. We provide a shuttle service for those attending the dinner banquet or evening tour. Being equal distance form Cambridge or Matamata there are plenty of cafes or restaurants to choose from for an evening meal. Also nearby is Rotorua for more tourist activities, Tauranga or Mt Maunganui for beaches, and Hamilton with the Zoo, Hamilton Gardens and the local Airport. The Waitomo Caves and Taumarunui's Forgotten World Adventures are also only a day trip away.
