Set on a 5-acre hillside next to Paparoa National Park, Hydrangea Cottages offer free Wi-Fi and some offer stunning G views of the Tasman Sea or the native garden landscapes of the South Island. All accommodation offers a flat-screen TV. Some feature a balcony or patio. All accommodation is heated and offers tea/coffee making facilities. Some accommodation features a kitchen or kitchenette. Each cottage and suite includes a private bathroom. Hydrangea Cottages uses a self check in service. Nearby activities include kayaking, caving, hiking and rafting. Punakaiki Hydrangea Cottages are located in the middle of Paparoa National Park, just 500 metres south of The Pancake Rocks. There is an InterCity bus stop just metres from the property. Neil and I are both from the West coast and enjoy outdoor pursuits that this area abounds in. We are available by text, phone or if you see us around the property come and say hello.

Our cottages have been built over the last decade, each one is unique and ideally situated on the property for privacy, landscaping and some with views of the sea. We have recently built a beach side house for families and couples travelling together wanting to stay a couple of days to explore the Paparoa National Park and activities in the area. Our property borders the Paparoa National Park and is just minutes walk to the beaches. We have a self check in policy which will be emailed to you about 2 days before you arrive, please contact us if this has not been received or check you junk folder. We do not staff the office.

Our property borders the National Park, we are next to the Punakaiki river mouth and lagoon, we are walking distance (600m) to the Pancake Rocks, you can walk the Punakaiki loop starting from Hydrangea Cottages, Truman track another stunning short day walk is 4 km away, beach combing and kayaking all nearby.
