Make your morning coffee and sit out on the deck to soak up the fresh morning air or at the end of the day sit back with a wine or beer in the warm summer air. When you get home from a day spent down on the beach, soaking up the sun, sand and surf, fire up the BBQ and finish of the day with a classic kiwi dinner fresh off the grill! In an established part of Whangamata, near estuary end, Jacaranda Lodge is a 15-minute walk to the surf beach, less than 10-minutes walk to the local shop/takeaways and only a 4-minute drive from the main street of Whangamata. Whangamata is a favourite holiday destination in the Coromandel. It has one of the best surf breaks in the area, as well as having safe enough swimming for families. Behind the well-equipped town is a large forest park, with walking tracks and biking trails through lush native forest.
