Marlbough is a place to linger in, stunning water views, spectacular scenery, wineries, eateries, and adventure activities. Marlborough hosts a number of popular events through the year, which attract visitors from across the world. These include the annual Wine Marlborough Festival, held every February; Hunters Garden Marlborough, held every November; and the Classic Fighter's Air Show, held every second Easter, alternating with the Wanaka air show. Marlborough is also the southern entry point for the Classic New Zealand Wine Trail and the start of the Treasured Pathway touring route.
