Our property is located about 5 minutes drive from Rotorua's CBD and the town based attractions and is located on the shore of Lake Rotorua with a private beach and magnificent views across the lake to the island and hills beyond. Our Bed and breakfast units were architect designed and purpose built 10 years ago and have been well maintained and improved since then. The accommodation comprises a generous sized bedroom with en-suite toilet and shower. The rooms are air conditioned, double glazed and sound proofed to maximise our guests comfort and enable a cosy undisturbed nights sleep. Each room has its own private entrance with a veranda and deck opening onto a sunny courtyard. While the rooms have no lake view there is a magnificent view from the breakfast room, deck, lawn and beach which guest have access to. The lake in front of our property is clean and very safe for swimming or paddling by little children. We have a 2 person kayak that guest may use free of charge to paddle around the bay or into town. Guests may use the deck with Spa Pool and BBQ that looks over the lake.
Your hosts Katz (from Malaysia) and Roger (from England) have a little boy aged 9, called Kris, and our free times tends to focus on activities that suit Kris. On warm days he loves paddling an swimming in the lake and playing on our beach, and visiting local playgrounds. Katz and Roger like to go for runs in the forests (and belong to the local Hash House Harriers) as our main fitness routine. Otherwise we enjoy the many dinning and tourist activities in Rotorua and never get bored of the many options available
There are endless things to do in Rotorua. Near to our property are Skyline Skyrides for the luge, zip line, bungy and down hill mountain biking, next door to them is Mitai who provide a fabulous Maori dinner and cultural show, and Fairy Springs park Kiwi Centre, and farm bike trail rides and Ogo (Zorb). The city centre attractions are also only 5 minutes drive away with the amazing Kuirau Park with its bubbling mud, natural hot pools and stream vents, the lake front with its various water based attractions, the city and its many restaurants of all ethnicities,
