The house is set on a small lifestyle property where the owners keep sheep, chickens and a goat. It is bordered on one side by a pristine creek, with a natural swimming hole available for the brave guest to try during the summer months.
Kokatahi is a rural community half way between Hokitika township and the beautiful Hokitika Gorge. There is a local Pub about 1km down the road, otherwise Hokitika is a 15 minute drive away.
