Guests have full and exclusive use of the entire four-level home, including the internal lift, private single garage with direct lift access, driveway parking, spa area*, and all indoor and outdoor living spaces. Please note: I am an architect, and there is a completely self-contained office suite on the upper level of the property, used for architectural work between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday. This workspace is entirely separate from the home, with its own private entrance via the front steps and no internal access to guest areas — in fact, it’s located on the other side of a four-storey concrete wall. It’s designed to be discreet, and you’ll likely never see us — but if you do, we’re always happy to say hello. You’ll receive detailed check-in instructions and a digital guidebook before your stay to help you settle in and make the most of your time here.

Perched high above Wellington in the quiet, leafy suburb of Northland, the house enjoys spectacular views and a rare sense of privacy — while still being incredibly close to the action. Just a 5–10 minute drive from the city centre, you’ll have easy access to Wellington’s best restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions, but can return to a peaceful home base at the end of the day. The surrounding neighbourhood is friendly and established, with great local cafes, parks, and walking tracks nearby — including access to the city via the iconic Zealandia Sanctuary and Te Ahumairangi Hill trails. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can walk to the Botanic Gardens, Cable Car, or even downtown in around 30–40 minutes (downhill!). Northland is well-served by public transport, with a bus stop just a few minutes’ walk away. Ubers and taxis are also quick and reliable in this area.
