The Studio is new, modern and contemporary with polished concrete floors, homely, it is tastefully decorated with a touch of luxury, a great tiled shower, a modern kitchen and all important, it is immaculately clean. The linen is high quality. The sheets are ironed and are 100% high quality cotton In winter there is a WOOD FIRE for ambiance and is toasty warm. I can light it for you too if you would like me to. French doors open onto your own private timber DECK to relax in the sun or under the shade of the umbrella surrounded by the garden. There is a BARBECUE solely for your use and you're welcome to use herbs from the garden. There are 2 BIKES FREE and for you to use, and a bike shed if you want to bring your own.

Hi I love to create a warm, friendly, contemporary yet homely haven for guests to enjoy. I previously owned a backpackers at the start of the Abel Tasman National Park and realise that providing accommodation is my thing, yes I do actually love my "job" Since creating The Studio I have become interested in living in small spaces. The Studio is set in an organic garden and native trees that attract native birds. You may get a visit from Ginga the ginger cat who lives here too. Ginga is optional. I do take a lot of care to present the studio to a high standard, that it feels relaxing and homely with a touch of luxury and that is immaculately clean.

MAPUA VILLAGE is a beautiful SEASIDE VILLAGE and located perfectly between Nelson and the ABEL TASMAN NATIONAL PARK, close to wineries, galleries restaurants and cafes. THE GREAT TASTE CYCLE TRAIL: is 2 mins away where the Mapua Ferry carries people and their bikes connecting Mapua to Rabbit Island. THE WHARF is 2 mins away has restaurants and cafes, specialty shops with local artists work, boutique brewery (often has live music in summer), wine tasting, fish and chips.
