We are so lucky to live in the "Coolest Town in New Zealand". (Lonely Planet). It is! We live in a large villa on an acre and a half of paradise in the middle of Oamaru 10 minutes walk from everywhere. Our home of 30 years has been transformed to welcome people to stay in a way that gives you and us privacy.
Trish is a fulltime artist that works from home. Gary is a school principal and together they like to create beautiful and functional things.
Trish has several of her artworks displayed as murals around the town. Gary makes furniture and beer, while Trish paints and sculpts. They both enjoy creating Steampunk gadgets and outfits. Ask about our popular free dress-up and photoshoot sessions.
We are 10 minutes walk from over 20 cafes or eating places. The historic precinct, the Public Gardens, our skyline walk and our harbour are all places of great beauty and all a short walk away.
Breweries, galleries, award winning cheese and penguins...all part of the mix.
