We designed Millar Road to allow guests to experience our amazing Hawke's Bay lifestyle in beautiful surroundings away from the (not so) madding crowds. In addition, our property is fully organically certified - we make our wine organically, tend the gardens organically and only use natural cleaning products.

We grew up in Hawke's Bay and have seen the food, wine and tourism scenes develop fantastically, with yet more exciting things to come. It has been exciting for us to be part of this story with both our accommodation and wine businesses and we continually try to innovate in terms of our offering. We like nothing better than relaxing with a glass of local wine, some beautiful locally-sourced artisan foods and taking in a beautiful sunset over looking over the Pacific Ocean.

Hawke's Bay is probably New Zealand's leading region outside the big cities for amazing food and wine. And we get the most sunshine of anywhere in New Zealand! We have a one page list of our favourite places which we provide to guests and continually update as new favourites emerge.
