Welcome to Moore St Cottage this is our home away from home, we are Dog friendly with a big fully fenced section, two kennel's included. We are super close to town 5min walk, 1 min drive. The cottage is an old (1910) character bungalow with 2 bathrooms and 2 lounges making it great for families where the kids can have their own space.
Welcome to Moore St Cottage, we hope you enjoy our home away from home as much as us. No matter the season there is always plenty to do in Ohakune and within the Ruapehu district. As a whanau we love the variety of walks/hikes and mountain biking in the summer and winter we enjoy skiing. We hope you enjoy staying at Moore st Cottage that should be a warm and comfy stay.
Summer is all about the local walks we especially like the family friendly
Waitonga falls walk which is a 1.5 hour round trip. Mountain biking through Old coach road is another favourite.
Winter see's us heading up the maunga to ski, we love both sides Whakapapa and Turoa. Turoa is especially handy as can come home for lunch in-between a morning and evening session.
