Property information

Located in a prime position on the exclusive Matiatia Estate, minutes from Oneroa, this architecturally-designed house is perfectly positioned to make the most of the stunning views and the all day sun. It sits in 10 acres of land, and a 5 minute walk gives access to a secluded bay. The Private beach access leads to the most famous track- Matiatia Walk, as well as Owhanake Bay. Nikau Estate is a beautiful house in a tranquil setting. This is ideal for a peaceful retreat or special holiday, but is not suitable for celebrations or parties. The central entrance stairway opens into a huge open plan room incorporating the living, dining & kitchen areas. These look out to sea on all sides, with sliding doors from each opening onto the gorgeous pool deck with further decks at each end. There is a huge lawn, swimming pool, spa pool and a gas BBQ. The master bedroom sits in prime site to the northern end of the house, with windows on three sides. It has a wardrobe & an ensuite, and opens directly onto the pool on one side and the lawn on the other. Downstairs are 2 further bedrooms, each with a splittable king bed, an ensuite, seaviews and access to a deck. Upstairs is a lovely large bedroom with ensuite, and a splittable king bed. There is a gas fire in the dining area and a wood fire in the living area. The upstairs bedroom has a heatpump & there are heaters in the other bedrooms to keep you warm in winter. The property is only five minutes from Oneroa Village, fantastic vineyards including Cable Bay and Mudbrick, and the Fullers ferry to Auckland. Note: the property is not to be used for any parties or gatherings. Families & mature groups only.
