Nut Point Cottage is the perfect place to escape for a few days, a week, or even longer !!! The grounds of the cottage are magnificent, and secluded, ensuring you taste the best of New Zealand's tranquility. Nut Point Centre is located on one side of the grounds, while Nut Point Cottage is at the far end. With a generous lawn to play games, run around, or simply just relax, you can do all this without a care in the world. Nut Point Cottage is perfect for families looking to cater for themselves, without having to travel miles for groceries. With quality furnishings to make your stay as comfortable as possible, Nut Point Cottage is excellently located for exploring Christchurch, Mt Hutt and Porters Pass ski fields, and its surrounds. Unique charms of Nut Point Cottage include viewing the multitude of art work, attending Music events (By annual programme) or just wandering and enjoying the grounds that combine developing native flora and bird life. Bellbirds with their beautiful calls can frequently be heard providing a unique New Zealand experience. The area has a variety of activities from the wild life at Orana park to the wineries & restaurants in the area.
While I live close to Nut Point Cottage I am also available 24 hours by telephone, so if you ever have any issues that need attending to, you can always get hold of me. I have been in hospitality nearly all my life and know that having the best experience is what it's all about. I hope I never let you down. John Allan
The area has a variety of activities to offer from the wild life at Orana park to the wineries and restaurants in the area or exploring the adventures of the Canterbury plains not far from the southern Alps.
