A sunny North facing 1 bedroom cabin with a big deck, comfy outdoor chairs with a BBQ & outdoor heater. We have created a tropical garden & large water feature to bring in the ambience of Bali. Surrounded by plenty of bird life, our cabin provides peace & tranquility to your holiday vibe.
Set at the front of our property, the cabin is self-contained & is completely separate from our house with its own parking
My husband Lockie who built the cabin is a keen fisherman & is kept fit by surfing as much as possible. I enjoy yoga/stretch classes with friends, regular walks on the beach & nearby bush tracks, cycling & swimming when I can.
We both love Bali & try to get over there late in the winter. So we have created Peace of Bali to provide a little Balinese retreat at our little beach village to transport you to the tropics without having to get on a plane!
Tucked down at 'right of way' we are a street back from the Main/Beach Rd so when our little villages population quadruples in Summertime, this is a quiet place to retreat to.
About 7 minutes walk to the beach & to the Surf Club as well as the Trig track (a climb up in the hills behind Waihi Beach with a great view down the Coast)
Also situated at the North end of Waihi Beach are several cafes within 10 minutes walk. The Flatwhite on the beach front is popular with visitors.
In our local village (about 5minutes car ride or a 15 minute walk) is The Secret Garden cafe which has Balinese fales set in a tropical garden & is run by our good friends & is hugely popular. They serve Mexican food & a bit of cabinet food & drinks & hold lots of musical gigs.
The Waihi Beach RSA club is about a 10 minute walk, with a bar & restaurant with outstanding views. Their roast Carvery smorgasbord is recommended.

The Karangahake gorge is a 15 minutes drive away & is a great place to cycle along the Hauraki Rail trail
