Our romantic cottage is nestled in a native garden and has been designed to be a snug and nurturing place for a couple (maximum 2 people) to relax, unwind and spend time together. It has been lovingly designed to replicate Early Settlers' cottages of old, with the covered in verandah, high ceilings, 100 year old timber floors (recycled flooring) as well as a recycled timber feature wall. The furniture is early Settlers style too. It is doubled glazed and has a log burner for frosty days and snowy nights. Such a wonderful place in the winter time to snuggle up together. There is a 2 person deep bath on the verandah, with herbal soaks and candles to relax body and soul! This is not a spa bath and does not have jets. We have created a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Maybe a little hedgehog will wander past at night or a family of quails. There are cooking amenities, so this is just a kitchenette with a Nespresso machine. Some restaurants deliver food to Real Romance cottage. The village, thermal pools and Spa is 3 minutes by car or a lovely walk downhill' We think it is a wee gem for a couple, so book your celebration anniversary, birthday or honeymoon at Real Romance Cottage!

We love to share our romantic cottage. We have lived in this alpine village for over 15 years. We love the quiet, the birdsong, the forest walks, the fresh air, mountain bike trails all at our back door and yet all the conveniences of a town, with a wonderful village of restaurants, shops, thermal healing pools, Spa and day spas all a short walk away. We love the friendly people. We designed the cottage for our guests to share time together and nurture their relationship in our beautiful village. Slow down and smell the forest! Recharge and rejuvenate and LOVE one another!

There is so much to do in our area and quite close by We have the Thermal Resort and Spa, Yoga retreat, Day Spas, Heritage forest walks, with wonderful wood carvings of creatures and critters and even fairy doors into trees! There is a wonderful Animal Park and restaurant. You can feed and cuddle the animals! There is Bungy jumping, jet boating, rafting and canoeing and clay bird shooting, hunting and fishing. There is a wonderful golf course and golf putting, mini golf and maze. So much to do and see, you can leave your car parked up for the whole stay!
