Rocky Ridge Cottage is situated on a 2000 acre sheep farm which borders on three sides, Rawhiti Cave Bush, Abel Tasman National Park and Rameka Creek. Whether you choose to look out over the ocean, towards the rolling countryside, native bush, nearby steep mountains or the Kahurangi National Park, Rocky Ridge Cottage offers a truly unique getaway. Enjoy an outdoor bath under the stars or sit back and relax around the outdoor fire.
My name is Jean Edmondson .I have lived in Golden Bay for 37 years and we are farmers. I love meeting new guests from all over the world .
Rocky Ridge Cottage is situated in Motupipi,a 10 minute drive from the town and some of the amazing beaches in Golden Bay. The Rawhiti Cave Track is a one hour walk running along the river the winding up the side of hill. Anatoki Salmon offers a unique fishing experience at very affordable prices. At Anatoki Salmon, you catch your own salmon and have your salmon prepared with a variety of options. 10 minute drive to the golden beaches. During the holiday season, this is a very popular attraction within Golden Bay. The start of the Rameka Bike Trail is only 1 km from the cottage via access through the farm.
